I am delighted to have won the Lord Mayor Reflects 2022 Stained Glass Roundel Competition! My design was selected to commemorate the mayoralty of the most recent Lord Mayor of London, Sir William Russel. The contemporary stained glass piece reflects the ambition and creative innovation, inspired by the Lord Mayor's quest for his theme Global UK – ‘The New Future’, connecting our cities through Trade, Innovation and Culture. Acid etched mouth blown , hand engraved hand painted with enamels, silver stained, plated with kiln formed glass and embellished with 24 carat gold details. The piece is finished with lead came put around the perimeter and presented in a bespoke made forged steel display stand.
